GIS Data Collection
CGD Ltd provides services for the collection and provision of GIS data, whether in the field using survey techniques or by digitising and taking information from existing maps. In the field we use the most appropriate method (GPS, Total Station etc.) to collect both the asset location and attribute information.
Data can be delivered in a wide range of industry standard formats including ESRI, Mapinfo, DGN, DWG.
Rectification of Aerial photos & Scanned Maps
CGD Ltd can take aerial photos or scanned maps and 'fit' them to coordinates for inclusion in a GIS.
Cleaning of GIS data
GIS data often contains errors. Mapping data may have crossing lines or areas that overlap causing problems for a GIS. CGD Ltd can clean this data in order to make it usable.
